Someone who knows says CNS wants to move future bye weeks to the Saturday immediately following the first BCS Poll.

That, unfortunately, isn't totally up to Coach Saban. The SEC scheduled Bama to play four straight games to start the month of October, and they've done that again in 2010 - Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.

So while Coach Saban might like to get that done, he's got to have the help of the conference office. And that won't come, at the soonest, until 2011.
