Tony Barnhardt from the AJC says Bama may yet play Virginia Tech in the Georgia Dome to start next season. He also has an interesting tidbit about Nick Saban and the LSU game.

Fulmer Service Story Continues to Develop

This story is coming more into focus as the afternoon wears on. Initially, it was widely reported there was a subpoena issued to Fulmer at Media Days. Shortly thereafter, Fulmer issued a denial, saying he’d seen no subpoena.
Memphis Tider clarifies the reason for that situation for us this afternoon:

Phil Fulmer was served with a subpoena in the Wendell Smith case this morning on his way into Media Days at the Wynfrey Hotel. He’s scheduled to appear in Birmingham on September 25.
UPDATE: Now Fulmer is denying the claim. The Birmingham News sure had a lot of information about a subpoena that didn’t exist.
