Ingram Named SEC Freshman of the Week

Another week, another SEC Player of the week. Last week, Julio Jones was SEC Freshman of the Week. This week, it’s Mark Ingram.
Ingram had 113 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns against Arkansas State. By my count, he broke 340 tackles (may be an exaggeration).

Julio Jones is SEC Freshman of the Week

Fresh off his first 100 yard performance, Julio Jones is SEC Freshman of the Week. His 82 first half yards helped propel the Tide to a 13-3 halftime lead that exploded in the second half.
More good things are coming for the talented Mr. Jones.

Mike Johnson is SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week

Mike Johnson was honored today as SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week. Johnson played well on Saturday, not allowing a sack all day against a very good Ole Miss defensive line.
It’s Johnson’s second time this year to be honored. He was chosen after the week one drubbing of Clemson.
