The Alabama football team held its fourth practice of the spring on Friday in fantastic weather in Tuscaloosa. The full pads practice was held in front of more than 1,200 guests as a part of Bama's annual coaching clinic.

The Alabama football team practiced inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility to escape the cold and wet weather in Tuscaloosa. Monday's practice was the second of 15 during the spring, and the first since the team came back from spring break. The practice was once again held in shorts and helmets.

Sorry for the delay in this. I've had the plague for the last week, and it's still kicking my butt.

The Alabama football team held the first of its 14 spring practices on Friday, leading up to A-Day on April 17. The squad was in shorts and helmets, with no pads.

When I said I would write Texas From the Couch later, because you guys would still be interested, it wasn't just because I'm lazy.  Although I am-and it sure has been tempting to hope everybody just forgot.  Which you probably did.

But really, this is as good a time as any to put it up; maybe the best time, because I'm going to do something a little bit different than usual.  Namely, I will look at the game in light of what it means for 2010, and more specifically, what it means for spring training.
