Alabama defensive back Robby Green has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. Alabama head coach Nick Saban had the following to say:

There is a situation with Robby and we are currently in the process of determining the facts. To make any kind of announcement on his playing status at this time is completely premature and it is not appropriate to do so until we have a chance to go through due process for Robby and his family.

So what's the situation? Details after the jump.

National Signing Day is here, and with it will come the flood of rumors. The day has a fluidity to it that is really like no other in college football. There's no actual football game being played, so the eyes and ears of the football fanatics are tuned into the whims of 18 year old high school seniors. As such, the day can be pretty hectic and difficult to follow if you don't have the time to devote the entire day to following it. We'll have a live chat going to appease those folks who want to be immersed in the rumors of the day. But if you're just looking for a place where you can check in from time to time and get the bare bones facts, then this is the article for you.

After the jump will be the list of players who have officially signed with Alabama, the list of players who have yet to sign but are committed, and the list of guys who have yet to announce their decision. This post will be updated throughout the day any time that a player officially signs or makes his official announcement.

National Signing Day is almost upon us, and Bama looks to have another fantastic recruiting class lined up. We’re excited to say that we will have our 2nd annual BSR National Signing Day Live Chat on Wednesday. We had fun doing this in 2009, and are all set to go again in 2010. Each of you are invited to join us as we keep track of the signings as they come in, as well as the announcements of any uncommitted players. Look for the chat to start some time a little after 8:00 a.m (the time has been adjusted to account for announcements coming later in the day). Alll times you see listed here will be central.

To help prepare you for Wednesday, here is a primer for the day.

In Part Six of our goodbye to seniors we’ll take a look at the final group of guys who closed out their careers at Alabama in 2009. These last four guys were a major part of Bama’s success, though three of them took a little longer to make their impact than they had initially hoped, and a fourth never got the recognition he deserved.
