In the span of a single day, Alabama lost defensive line coach Bo Davis, and replaced him with Chris Rumph. Nick Saban clearly saw this move coming, and had his eye on Rumph. He has been very deliberate in the past in replacing coaches, but this one happened with lightning speed.

Rumph heads to Tuscaloosa after coaching at Clemson for the last three years. He played at South Carolina, and has coached at both Memphis and Clemson - where he focused on the defensive ends. He is known as a strong recruiter, and will likely jump head first into the recruitment of South Carolina native Jadaveon Clowney, considered by most to be the top player in the nation.

There may be more coaching moves coming in the next few days, and we'll have some reports to wrap up the 2010 season soon. The bad thing about making the bowl trip is having to go back to work when you get home.
