Well, we learned some things this weekend. Alabama - reilient and talented. Oregon - still very good. Boise State - cruising. Texas - gag.
Florida even found some offense. Just in time to bring it to Alabama. Great.
The full poll is after the jump.

Auburn is better than some folks think. They've started to play a little defense and Cam Newton, while possibly not worthy of the sort of worship he's getting on the Plains, is a bad, bad man. An absolutely terrifying talent. I don't see Auburn losing again before they come to Tuscaloosa. Their schedule sets up incredibly well; they get LSU and Arkansas at home. Those are realistically two of the only three teams left on their schedule that can beat them without significant help.
And LSU is sporting the worst passing offense in the history of the SEC. That is only a very small touch of hyperbole. Seriously, they are abysmal. Until they prove they can move the ball through the air with any consistency, they're capped at 14th. I don't care how many games they win.
Arizona and Stanford are the other big movers. I'm trying hard to shed my east-coast bias. And I'm looking forward to waking up Sunday morning and seeing highlights of the Oregon-Stanford game this weekend. No way I'll be up late enough to watch it (although with Alabama starting so late, may be).
