The Alabama football team worked inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility during Friday's practice. As anticipated the squad worked in shells, using today's practice as a game-simulation tune up for Saturday's scrimmage.
Here's what you need to know:
Undra Billingsley was cleared for contact and back working with the second group at defensive end. I'm still not convinced he'll participate in the scrimmage, mainly because the defensive line isn't really an issue. It will also give Darrington Sentimore and Brandon Lewis some extra reps. If he does participate, he will likely be limited.
DeMarcus Milliner (ankle) and Blake Sims (toe) are both still in black jerseys and spent the practice riding stationary bikes. They will both miss the scrimmage.
The only other injury of note was the concussion that Robert Lester suffered during last weekend's scrimmage, and that has limited him some in the last week. He was not withheld from contact, though he was limited some. That opened the door for more reps by both Will Lowery and Nick Perry, and both guys have taken advantage of that.
Otherwise there wasn't a whole lot that came out of the practice, which is not a surprise for a shells practice the day proceeding a game simulation.

Bama will scrimmage for the final time tomorrow, and then begin game preparations on Monday. We'll give you the stats released by the University, with the understanding that those stats are not a complete statistical rundown of everything that happened during the scrimmage.
