Alabama will face off against Mississippi State Wednesday night at 7:00 pm at Humphrey Colesium in Starkville. There’s no TV for the game, so it’ll be all Chris Stewart and Brian Passink on the radio for those wanting to follow the game. “The Hump” has been a difficult draw for the Tide in seasons past, so expect a tough game.

Mississippi State, like most SEC teams this year it seems, has been Jekyl and Hyde thus far this season. They have lost to Charlotte and San Diego (and beat absolutely no one of any import), and then went to Fayetteville and drubbed Arkansas on Saturday.

Kind of reminds you of a team that whips Georgia Tech just weeks after being embarassed at home by Mercer.

We’ll be stepping up our basketball coverage now that football has settled a bit. Of course, we’ll be all over national signing day in a few weeks, but for now, we’ll be keeping an eye on Mark Gottfried’s team as they make their way through conference play.
