This was a difficult ballot. The top handful are pretty easy, but how far does LSU drop? Does Auburn stay in? Can I make room for Notre Dame? How good is Georgia Tech? Nebraska?
I've got more questions than answers here, but here's my stab:

Auburn, Ole Miss and Georgia have some proving to do. Missouri was always a pretender it turns out. I was concerned LSU was overrated. I was right.
TCU let Air Force hang around all game long (20-17). Top 10 teams don't do that. Kansas played around with Texas A&M. Top 20 teams don't do that. Georgia Tech's defense is on notice.
And Bama's Virginia Tech win is looking better each week. Want a nightmare BCS scenario? Alabama and Florida win out, and Texas (and the other undefeateds) lose. If Alabama loses a close one to Florida in the SEC Championship game, does Florida play Virginia Tech for the BCS Championship? Or do voters keep the Tide second? If Alabama wins, does Alabama play Virginia Tech again? It could get really interesting around here.
It's been floated elsewhere... but is it that nuts?
Lots of season left, and there will be no egg counting before hatching here, but it's an interesting quandry.
