It was ugly, but it was a win. We'll certainly have more coverage later, but I couldn't let Saturday night end without a comment of any kind. My Petrus Fortus cigar was tasty as hell, as Alabama held off Tennessee for the 12-10 victory.
Two blocked field goals by Terrence Cody, including one as time expired. Wow! There is a reason this guy was an all-american, despite numbers that wouldn't ordinarily jump off of the page at you.
This team is tired, both physically and mentally, and they will get a very deserved week off this coming weekend. Thankfully they are getting that weekend off as an 8-0 team.
