- Alabama is the 2009 SEC Western Division Champions!
- Alabama is 9-0 and still controls its destiny for the National Championship.
- The Tide beat LSU at home for the first time since 1999.
- Mark Ingram bolstered his Heisman campaign with 144 yards rushing and 30 yards receiving.
- Julio Jones had a 100 yard receiving day for the first time this season.
