What can you say about an offense that has scored 40 points in three consecutive games, with two of those coming on the road in the SEC? What can you say about an offense that scored on its first five possessions? What can you say about an offense that for the first 30 minutes of [...]
Practice Report: 9/30/08
The Tide was in full pads today for their second Kentucky week practice. It’s pretty much business as usual for the Bama players as they have been kept “on task” despite the lofty rankings that have come from beating Georgia.
Georgia From The Couch
With the exception of John Parker Wilson - who got loud, got proud, and got down with his bad self Saturday night - Alabama didn’t do anything against Georgia it hadn’t done most other games it played. It’s just that people noticed this time.
Unsung Heroes - Georgia Game
Huge win in Athens on Saturday night. Sure I am stating the obvious but it really was a big win between the hedges. A win that not only thrust Alabama back into the national spotlight, but also gave life to those national championship dreams that we Bama fans love to have.

Three Out of Four Computers Agree: Alabama is #1
The BCS poll is made up three parts. First, the USA-Today ESPN Coaches’ Poll - Alabama is fourth. Second, the Harris Interactive Poll where Alabama is ranked third. Finally, six distinct computer polls are included. Four of the six polls are out, and Alabama is first in three of those.

Kentucky will walk into Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday at 2:30 an undefeated team, looking to be a giant killer for the [...]

It’s been [...]
BlogPoll Ballot Week 5
Cue the Jefferson’s theme song.
Alabama is my new number one.
Monday Morning SEC Insanity
There’s enough wierdness and bizarre news to justify a short post this morning detailing that the end is near. I just saw the weather, and I’m pretty sure it said 65% chance of locusts this afternoon.
This week’s top five other signs of the impending SEC apocalypse:
The Poll Watch - Week 5
It’s now officially time to start a weekly poll watch, as the Tide is actually a real contender for the status of the #1 team in the nation.
While the Tide’s dismantling of the pre-season #1 Georgia didn’t quite vault the good guys into the #1 spot, it came awfully close in the AP poll.
