And, in all fairness, it was here the other day. I’m just now getting around to opening the thing.

At any rate, it’s pictured on the right, and it’s… OK. I can get 90.7 on it in the full FM mode, so the reception isn’t bad. I can even sort of get 94.5 (which is a real accomplishment in Tuscaloosa these days). So, the FM reception is pretty good.

Obviously, I can’t check reception of the CTSN radio broadcast (since there’s no game going on now), so I don’t know how well that works.

It is sort of large. I demonstrate this after the jump.

There it is, next to a dollar. As you can tell, it’s not small. But, if it allows me to receive Eli’s dulcet tones and know what’s up when someone is writhing in pain on the field, it’s good enough for me. I fear that at some point this season, I’ll wind up wearing it around my neck. Then, I’ll feel shame.

Check the Twitter feed on the bottom left of the page for my gametime reactions. For those of you unfamiliar with Twitter, it lets me sort of halfway blog via text message. We’ll give that functionality a full speed test come gameday.
