This story is coming more into focus as the afternoon wears on. Initially, it was widely reported there was a subpoena issued to Fulmer at Media Days. Shortly thereafter, Fulmer issued a denial, saying he’d seen no subpoena.

UPDATE: Fulmer Served Subpoena at Media Days - Or Maybe Not
Phil Fulmer was served with a subpoena in the Wendell Smith case this morning on his way into Media Days at the Wynfrey Hotel. He’s scheduled to appear in Birmingham on September 25.
UPDATE: Now Fulmer is denying the claim. The Birmingham News sure had a lot of information about a subpoena that didn’t exist.
Beano Confirms: ESPN in Atlanta for Clemson
