Alabama's big running back commitment for the class of 2009 had a
huge night Friday night. Trent Richardson led his Escambia High School (Pensacola, FL) team to a huge win with 419 yards rushing.
Yes, you read that right - 419 yards rushing. Oh, and throw in six touchdowns just for good measure. This was the largest rushing total for an individual in the Pensacola area in more than a decade, and the most since last season when Richardson put up 407 yards. It looks as though Bama is getting a good one here.
The article does mention that Trent is a "soft verbal" to Alabama right now, though all indications from people close to him are that Trent is more solid to the Tide than he lets on in public.
