Week 9 and things continue to shake up in the middle of the pack.
Check out the poll after the jump.
We awarded 1 point for a first place vote, 2 for a second and so on. Then we ranked the teams in descending order. Here are the totals.
1. Alabama (4) - 4
2. Florida - 8
3. Georgia - 13
4. LSU - 15
5. Vanderbilt - 23
6. Kentucky - 25
7. South Carolina - 27
8. Ole Miss - 29
9. Auburn - 39
10. Arkansas - 40
11. Tennessee - 41
12. Mississippi State - 48
We all vote Alabama #1. They're the only undefeated, and the clowns who ranked Florida over them in the "official" SEC Power Poll are not right in the noggin.
Florida holds at number 2, followed by Georgia and LSU to fourth. All of us had those four teams at the top (with Glen being the only person to rank LSU ahead of Georgia).
There's general insanity after that. Vanderbilt is seventh in my poll and fifth in two others. Kentucky garners the other two fifth plave vote, but also an eighth from Glen. Crump and nxojkt show no respect to our most recent guests; they've both got Ole Miss at 8th.
The only real consensus after Georgia is that Mississippi State is the worst team in the conference.
