A couple of notes this Sunday afternoon as we begin to prep for a full week of orange-tinted hate.
  • Tennessee's victory over Mississippi State was costly. Leading receiver (and sometime G-Gun QB) Gerald Jones has the dreaded "high ankle sprain". Sharing in his ankle pain is starting right tackle Anthony Parker.
  • The Mississippi State game was not as big a blowout as it seemed. There were two pick-sixes late in the fourth quarter that made it look like more lopsided. Phil Fulmer notes that the Vols are "not dead yet."
  • Saturdays' game is at 6:45 on ESPN. Your morning game is Kentucky at Florida, and the 2:30 kick is LSU at Georgia.
It's possible we'll talk more about this game this week...
