It's Week 7 and things are clearer at the top and murkier at the bottom. The Mississippi State/Arkansas stranglehold on the bottom of the conference is over! Check out the poll after the jump. We awarded 1 point for a first place vote, 2 for a second and so on. Then we ranked the teams in descending order. Here are the totals. 1. Alabama (4) - 4 2. Florida - 8 3. Georgia - 12 4. LSU - 16 5. Vanderbilt - 22 6. Ole Miss - 25 7. South Carolina - 27 8. Kentucky - 31 9. Mississippi State - 39 10. Auburn - 41 11. Arkansas - 43 12. Tennessee - 44 We all vote Alabama #1. A week off, no change. Florida exposes LSU, but thanks to the insanity behind the Tigers, they only slip to fourth. Georgia slides up a spot to reclaim third. After that, it's a mess. I have Vanderbilt fifth in the league by process of elimination. They have this week to prove me right or take their rightful place near the cellar. I'm not saying they need to beat Georgia - they just need to show up. Crump and Glen both have Arkansas ahead of Auburn. I'm not so sure about that. Arkansas came to Auburn and won... all we know for sure here is that they're both dreadful. Mississippi State showed signs of life against Vandy. If that continues this week, then Tennessee can stop paying rent on that bottom spot; they'll own it. Leave us your thoughts in the comments area.
