We
told you that it was probably coming, and today it officially happened. Alabama's all-time leading rusher Shaun Alexander has
signed a deal to play for the injury depleted Washington Redskins.
Interestingly enough he will join two former teammates from Alabama's 1999 SEC Championship season in Chris Samuels and Cornelius Griffin. He will also take handoffs from ex Auburn QB Jason Campbell.
While it won't be the starting job that he desired, the Redskins have a pretty good football team and Shaun should be able to help them.
