Despite a lackluster all around performance by the team, Bobby Greenwood's Saturday afternoon was good enough to be named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week. Greenwood had three tackles, a sack, a pass deflection and a QB pressure.
The SEC seems to have made this choice based partly on the performance of the line in total - the summary notes that the Tide is second in the country in rushing defense and that we held Kentucky to just 35 rushing yards.
Either way, good show Bobby Greenwood. Congratulations!
