Kenny Stabler has been acquitted of drunk driving. The Mobile Press Register:
Judge James Sweet said Robertsdale did not prove Stabler had been drunk when he was arrested on June 8. The former football star refused a breath test after he was stopped at 12:32 a.m. on Alabama 59.  Officer Tyler Kane, who is now an Alabama state trooper, testified that he stopped Stabler and smelled alcohol after the defendant's car passed within a few feet of him while he was making another traffic stop. Kane testified that Stabler could not follow instructions needed to take a field sobriety test.
Congrats Kenny - we hope to hear you on the broadcast again next year.
