Who knows.
Wait, you probably didn't want that answer from us. Well, here's what we know at this moment. First, Auburn and Tuberville were in meetings for many hours Monday and Tuesday to discuss "the future of the program".
On Wednesday, those meetings kicked off again... this time to a new refrain. Al Del Greco (former Auburn and Houston Oiler/Tennessee Titans kicker) noted this morning on WJOX's Opening Drive that his contacts were telling him that the assistants had been told to expect the worst.
The Auburn Athletic Department looks as much like Keystone Kops as ours did a few years back... We'll see if their ineptitude works out as well as ours did.
We know nothing definite at this hour, when we do, it'll be here.
UPDATE
AL.com is reporting that Auburn has contacted Mike Leach and Bobby Petrino to guage interest.
Leach has done well at Texas Tech, but he runs the same offense that the Tigers ditched at mid season.
Petrino has a clause in his contract that prohibits him from leaving Arkansas for another school in the SEC West... no word on whether or not they've contacted Bill Parcels or the ghost of Vince Lombardi.
