The expansion of Bryant-Denny Stadium appears imminent. Davis Architects and the University have released the sketch you see here. One reason the project is moving forward so quickly is the expansion of the student body. Ian Rappaport has the story:

"That's part of the reason for it, one of the main reasons for it," said Finis St. John, the Board of Trustees president pro tem. "To expand student seating. That's one important motivation for this. We want to accommodate every student who wants to come."

They better fill it, or Nick Saban will be after them...
