Alabama Senior defensive back Rashad Johnson has been named the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Defensive Player of the Week. Johnson had four tackles, with .5 for a loss to go along with three interceptions. His first quarter interception led to Alabama's first touchdown... his second quarter interception was returned 54 yards for a touchdown... and then there was the overtime interception that kept LSU from putting points on the board in their possession. The three interceptions ties the Alabama school record for picks in one game, held by four other Crimson Tide players - Bobby Wilson (1951), Dicky Thompson (1966), Jeremiah Castille (1982), and Kevin Jackson (1995).
