Brian Cook at mgoblog has once again decided to wage
fake bloggy war against Nick Saban. He's angry about Tarence Farmer, who he describes as "Cut". Meanwhile, there's no evidence to support that. Maybe Farmer will decide to say that he was asked to leave, at which point, it'll be appropriate to take whatever Saban related pot shots you'd like. HOWEVER....
To this point,
Farmer has declined comment. This is a guy who followed Major Applewhite to Alabama - no one at Bama had recruited him until Applewhite and Saban were hired here. That he's leaving after Applewhite's departure should really be no huge surprise. When the coach who recruited a player leaves,
sometimes the player follows.
Additionally, the guy had seen no playing time, and didn't seem likely to see much this year given that he changed positions in the spring. Seems like a good candidate for a transfer.
