Richard Hendrix and the Golden State Warriors made it official this week. Hendrix has inked a deal with the Warrriors. Hendrix has performed ably in his role as a rebounder in the Warriors frontcourt. According to NBA.com:

The 6'9" forward is currently playing for the Warriors' summer league team at the Rocky Mountain Revue in Salt Lake City, Utah. In three summer league contests overall (Las Vegas and Salt Lake City), Hendrix has averaged 7.0 points and 11.0 rebounds in 20.6 minutes. Additionally, he's collected 10 or more rebounds in each of his appearances.

Hendrix has earned favorable notices from the Warriors Blog on MVN. Looks like we may have been wrong in our appraisal of his situation at Golden State - although he's only averaging a little less than 10 minutes a game in summer league action thus far.
