John Parker Wilson, Rashad Johnson, Antoine Caldwell, and Travis McCall will all get to show their talents to the NFL scouts at this year's Under Armour Senior Bowl. The game will be played on January 24 at 6 p.m. in Mobile, and will be televised by the NFL Network.
It's interesting that McCall got the invite and not Nick Walker. Either way, four of Bama's nine seniors will get to spend a week working out for NFL coaches and scouts. For Wilson it's a chance to earn his way into the draft. For the other three guys, it's a chance to help their draft stock.
I've said all year that I think Rashad Johnson could work his way into a first day, and potentially a first round pick, and his performance here could go a long way towards that. Centers don't usually go in the first round, but Caldwell will likely have a huge combine, and could certainly work his way into the first day. I don't have much of a read on McCall's draft status, but I do feel he can play the position at the next level.
