I guess the SEC saw that I was working on by "Top Ten Newcomers" and decided to trump me by releasing their All-Freshman team. As is the case with the All-SEC team voted on by the coaches, you can not vote for your own players. Here's the link to the
whole list, but if you only care about the Bama guys, there were four who were honored.
Julio Jones was not unanimous, though I don't have any idea why.
Dont'a Hightower should have been unanimous as well, but didn't make that cut.
Mark Ingram was the only non-Florida back to make the team.
John Michael Boswell, despite only playing in seven game, made the cut. Good for him.
