The Tulane University football team will join the rest of the City of New Orleans and get the heck out of town before Hurrincane Gustav comes ashore,
according to al.com.
The Green Wave will work out at Samford University's Seibert Stadium Monday through Thursday in preparation for their game with Alabama on September 6.
The entire Tulane campus was closed at noon today, with the rest of the in season athletic teams sent to Jackson, MS and Jackson State University to work out.
*In a related note, the non-football athletes at Tulane are "thrilled" to get a free vacation to Jackson, MS.
