The Tuscaloosa News has posted what they claim to be the official 105 man roster for the opening of fall camp. When reading the notes posted below, keep in mind that the 105 man roster that they have up on their site only contains 100 names, one of which is Will Oakley, who Coach Saban said would not be a part of the 105 man roster. Obviously something is incorrect. Here are some other things:

• Incoming Freshman Brad Smelley is listed as a Tight End. Early indications were that he would start out at Quarterback, but according to this roster that won't happen. That should free up Michael Williams to start out his career at Defensive End, which when you consider his listed weight of 270 lbs. is probably a good thing.
• Freshman Chris Jackson who enrolled in the spring is not listed. In his spot at #86 is a walk-on Wide Receiver Chris Scott from Ramsay High School in Birmingham. Coach Saban did not mention Chris having left the team in his press conference yesterday, so my guess is that he is one of the missing 5 (or 6) from this roster.
• Also missing is walk-on kicker Andrew Friedman who has game action, and figures to be in the battle for kick off duties. He's also likely one of the missing 5 (or 6)
• Incoming Freshman Damien Square had requested, according to reports, the #92 because of his close relationship with Wallace Gilberry. After the media guide had him listed at #65 the current roster shows that he will be wearing #92 after all... at least to start with.

Those are the things that jumped out at me. There should be a roster handed out on Sunday at the open practice/fan day, and hopefully it will have corrections for some of these things.
